Former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders met her husband, Bryan Sanders, while they were both working on Mike Huckabee's 2008 presidential campaign. Sarah served as the campaign's field director while Bryan was hired as a communications consultant.

A Match Made in Politics

Despite the campaign's unsuccessful outcome, Sarah and Bryan found love amid the political turmoil. They began dating and married in 2010. Bryan continued to work in politics, serving as chief of staff to Governor Matt Bevin of Kentucky and later as a U.S. Senate candidate in Arkansas.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders rose through the ranks of politics, becoming press secretary for her father, Governor Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas, and eventually the White House press secretary under President Donald Trump. She resigned from the Trump administration in 2019 and has since returned to Arkansas.

Sarah and Bryan Sanders have three children together. They continue to be active in politics and public service, making them one of Washington's most recognizable couples.
